You will cut the ads we run: short-form, direct-response video for paid social, from scripts, creator footage and existing winners. Most of the work is variants, new hooks, captions and cuts on proven concepts, turned around in hours rather than weeks and judged on how they perform. AI tools are part of the job here, not a bonus: generation, voice, transcription and assisted cutting are in the daily workflow, and we expect you to be fluent in them.

What you will do

• Cut 15 to 60 second ads from scripts, creator footage and stock
• Build variants of winning ads: new openers, hooks, captions and aspect ratios
• Use AI tools to generate, voice, transcribe and version faster, and know when not to
• Add captions, motion text and sound that hold attention with the volume off and on
• Work from the numbers: what held, where people dropped, what to try next
• Keep a library the whole team can find: versions, exports and naming that make sense

What we look for

• Two or more years cutting short-form ads, with a reel or folder we can watch
• Proficient with AI tools in the edit: image and video generation, voice and lip-sync, transcription and AI-assisted cutting. This is a big one for us. Show us where you have used them and what they saved you.
• Fluent in Premiere or DaVinci Resolve, with After Effects or CapCut for motion text
• An instinct for the first two seconds, and the patience to make ten versions of them
• Comfortable with fast turnarounds and direct feedback
• Working English
